Former Attorney For Jeffrey Epstein Says Trump Is Not On ‘The List’

The previous attorney for the late human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein has stated “unequivocally” that President Donald Trump is not present on the notorious list of clients associated with his former client.

David Schoen, who represented Epstein during the final weeks of his life in 2019, disclosed in June that he had inquired with his incarcerated client regarding any possible damaging information about Trump.

These remarks resurfaced on Monday, adding a new dimension to the already tumultuous narrative surrounding the Trump administration’s management of Epstein’s documents, following a Justice Department memo that was leaked to Axios last week. This memo concluded that the disgraced financier had committed suicide and did not possess a “client list” to use for blackmailing influential figures.

“I was engaged to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal attorney just nine days before his death. He sought my counsel for several months prior to that. I can assert with authority, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information that could harm President Trump. I specifically posed that question to him!” Schoen stated in a post on X.

Supporters of MAGA are expressing their dissatisfaction with President Trump after he provided a robust defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi, whose Department of Justice has recently denied the existence of a Jeffrey Epstein client list, despite years of assurances from Trump’s allies to reveal the disgraced financier’s secrets.

Longtime conservatives and Trump supporters took to social media and expressed their frustration in person at a convention in Florida, asserting that the Epstein scandal “will not disappear.” The DOJ has concluded that Epstein died by suicide in 2019 and maintains that no list exists identifying the powerful individuals allegedly involved in his network of sexual exploitation, as reported by Fox News.

“.@realDonaldTrump, it is imperative to recognize that the EPSTEIN AFFAIR will not dissipate,” stated retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, who served as Trump’s national security advisor during his initial term, in a post on X this past Saturday. “Should the administration fail to confront the multitude of unresolved inquiries regarding Epstein, particularly concerning the ABUSE OF CHILDREN BY ELITES (it is abundantly clear that such abuse took place), addressing the numerous other significant challenges our nation faces will become considerably more difficult.”

Last week, a joint memorandum acquired by Fox News revealed that the DOJ and FBI claimed they had no further information to disclose regarding the case or death of Jeffrey Epstein.

This announcement led to heightened internal discord, with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly having a confrontation with Attorney General Pam Bondi over what he characterized as a “lack of transparency,” even threatening to resign, as reported by Fox News.

Epstein was a convicted sexual offender who admitted guilt in 2008 to charges of procuring underage girls for prostitution. He was apprehended once more in 2019 on new federal allegations of sex trafficking minors and conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking.

The financier, who associated with global elites including Bill Gates and was photographed with Donald Trump years prior to his presidency, was discovered deceased in his New York City jail cell in August 2019, a death that was officially classified as a suicide.

Nevertheless, numerous MAGA supporters dispute this conclusion, asserting that Epstein did not take his own life and alleging that his death was part of a larger cover-up intended to shield influential individuals implicated in his exploitation of minors, as noted by Fox.

On Saturday evening, Trump utilized Truth Social to express a robust endorsement of Bondi, even as conservatives amplified their demands for clarity regarding the enduring Epstein scandal.”

“What is happening with my ‘boys’ and, in certain instances, ‘gals’? They are all targeting Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is performing exceptionally well,” Trump stated in an extensive post on Truth Social on Saturday. “We are united as one Team, MAGA, and I disapprove of the current situation.

“He referred to Epstein as the “individual who never dies,” further commenting, “For years, it has been Epstein, time and again.” He proceeded to question why individuals were “promoting Files authored by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden administration.”

“They fabricated the Epstein Files, just as they concocted the FAKE Hillary Clinton/Christopher Steele Dossier that they utilized against me, and now my so-called ‘friends’ are unwittingly cooperating with them,” Trump expressed. “Why did these Radical Left Lunatics not disclose the Epstein Files? If there was ANYTHING within those files that could have jeopardized the MAGA Movement, why did they not exploit it?”
