Karoline Leavitt’s recent appearance on Fox News has sparked a flurry of concern among viewers, with some sarcastically suggesting she should seek out mental health support.
The 28-year-old press secretary for Donald Trump was a guest on Jesse Watters’ Primetime, where she discussed current White House affairs. Among the topics was her predecessor, Karine Jean-Pierre, who served as President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary from January 2021 to May 2022.
During the live interview on Tuesday (October 21), host Watters mentioned Jean-Pierre’s previous comment on The View, saying, “Oh, she called you deplorable. And you said…” This led to Leavitt sharing her perspective.
“Well, with all due respect to my predecessor, she is one of the main culprits of the greatest cover up in scandal in American history. She took the podium every day and lied to the press about the incompetence of her boss,” Leavitt stated, alluding to claims by Trump supporters that Biden is concealing a dementia diagnosis.

This outburst led to a wave of reactions on X, with one user stating, “Psychologists gotta study these people someday,” while another commented, “The level of projection from the Trump administration could run all the movie theaters in the galaxy,” reports The Mirror US.
With a third joking, “They’ll discover a mental illness only affecting muricans – American personality disorder.”
During her TV appearance, Karoline also touched on the escalating healthcare costs, telling Jesse, “And by the way, it’s the Democrats who created the broken healthcare system in the country through Obamacare that has led to rising premiums and costs.
“It’s this president, President Trump, who is taking on big pharma, who is cutting deals with them, who is working with insurance companies across the board to bring down the cost of healthcare in this country,” Leavitt confidently stated.
However, this tirade didn’t sit well with viewers, who criticized the “smug” Press Secretary for “lying.” One user vented, “Holy f–k she is as an insane of a liar as her boss.”
Another person noted, “Well, she’s not really lying here. Trump _is_ trying to bring down the cost of healthcare in this country, by taking it away from millions of people. That will save a s–tload of money.”
While another added, writing, “She spews all this with such a smug grin on her face… i am glad that she is so happy about screwing over Americans, ignoring the Constitution, trying to bury the Epstein files, engaging in a massive corrupt cover up etc. etc. etc. – and Watters is a Trump lap dog.”
Leavitt’s interview with Fox News follows her revealing a private message exchange on social media between herself and HuffPost White House correspondent S. V. Dáte, in which she responded sarcastically to his question about a planned meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Dáte initially texted Leavitt, asking if Trump was “aware of the significance of Budapest” as the 79-year-old politician had chosen Hungary’s capital for his meeting with Putin. “Who suggested Budapest?” Dáte queried, to which Leavitt retorted, “Your mom did.
“It’s funny to me that you actually consider yourself a journal [sic],” the 28 year old shot back, before lambasting, “You are a far left hack who nobody takes seriously, including your colleagues in the media, they just don’t tell you that to your face. Stop texting me your disingenuous, biased, and bulls— questions.”
In her post on X, Leavitt continued, “For context, S.V. Dáte of the Huffington Post is not a journalist interested in the facts. He is a left-wing hack who has consistently attacked President Trump for years and constantly bombards my phone with Democrat talking points.”
She labeled Dáte as “anti-Trump,” encouraging her followers to “take a look at” his posts on the social media platform.
